This tough EPS styrofoam Thunderbird is designed for a beginner to a middle level pilot. It is the perfect trainer for pilots to get involved to the world of electric jet ducted fan flying. This model comes with a one-piece delta wing design to provide the maximum strength for a tough landing.

The Thunderbird is suitable for hand launches since it is equipped with the handle at the bottom of the plane. If your flying field has a runaway then it will take off smoothly after fixing with the landing gear (this is optional and should be bought separately).

Assembling the Thunderbird is quite an easy job. All of the parts are formed with precise aluminum moulds and it just takes around 1-2 hours of work to get the Thunderbird in the air. If you are looking to get into the wonderful world of EDF flying this is the model for you.
