The plane is great fun for beginners who have just started the hobby. Just a minimal assembly and you are good to fly.

Hi Friends,
I had written a review on my brand new Ready to Fly Kit for Sky SurferV3 on 18 Mar 2017.....
Well......Yesterday i finally took the first step of taking my bird to the air under the watchful eyes of my friends at Chandigarh Aeromodelling Club and i must say the plane flew like a DREAM MACHINE....
The potential of the flybird to perform acrobatics, the range it can go to and the height it can soar up ...ALL make it a PERFECT Beginners Model!!!

Sky SurferV3 RTF Kit with Avionic RCBi6 Tx, Lipo And Charger
Hi Guys,
I ordered the SkySurfer V3 Ready To Fly Kit alongwith Avionic RCBi6 tx rx and Lipo and Charger from RC Bazar online....
I must admit that i am NOT EVEN a Rookie enthusiast , so bought the stuff quite impulsively i must admit....though i did see all the videos made available by RC Bazar on their site before making up my mind while choosing between various models...
True to their word, my order was shipped within 24 hrs and i received it yesterday....
I must compliment Team RC Bazar for EXCELLENT packing.... My daughter was quite amused as she saw the grin on her 41 yr old dad as he opened the package like a small kid!!!
The product is fairly simple to assemble though i did have to consult the local flying club as to how to attach control cables to servos as there was no manual available....
The build quality is FABULOUS and the product does give a feel of a UBER TOY with a lot of possibilities...
Haven't done the maiden flight yet as i am looking for a Simulator to practice myself before i take this plane to the field...
All in all i must say that i am looking forward to fly this plane and then graduate to some other advanced models...
Thank You RC Bazar for making this long over due dream of mine become a reality....

Awesome Beginners Model
This is one of the best model i have come a cross till now. A good combination of electronics, designs, decals etc. I am sure every beginner, intermediate , and experts would definitely have a good opinion of SKY SURFER and they would love this model as well. I say A MUST MODEL for all RC fliers.

exceeded expectations for a beginner rc pilot
I have no previous RC experience. Got the Avionics RCB6i Tx/Rx and the flight simulator dongle+sw first so I would not have the temptation to fly without first getting some feel for the controls.
Installed a custom plane model for realflight 7 ( Easystar plus ailerons ) that i found on some internet forum. It looks very similar to the Skysurfer. The ailerons don't show on the graphics, but the controls work. I practiced flying only with ailerons and elevator and throttle in mode 2.
Assembly was no problem. Very impressed with the quality of fit and finish ! A few nitpicks :
- one of the aileron horns wasn't perpendicular to the wing on neutral setting, so compared to the other aileron, the throws are a bit asymmetric. The servo was glued in tight, so could not remove it to fix this.
- the magnets on the fuselage mating to the canopy magnets came off first time canopy was removed. Fixed with epoxy, no problem since.
More serious possibly was that the wolfpack balanced charger was getting very hot - smell of hot plastic - there seem to be no ventilation holes in the charger enclosure, and one of the cells in the 3S pack never showed a green light even an hour after the others were fully charged. I discharged the pack and then recharged with my Imax B6 charger successfully.
With the 2200mAh wolfpack battery, the CG was right underneath the carbon spar. Convenient, because I really had no room to move the battery :-).
I was really concerned about the downthrust rotating the plane into the ground if I tried throwing it and flying it myself, so got someone (thanks Gaurav!) to test fly the plane, and it looked ok to him. He added a few steps of up elevator to the trim.
My very first flight was into the ground about 30 feet away :-). Added a bit more throttle after that, and managed 3 mini flights with no damage to the plane - credit to the simulator practice and the stable flight characteristics. Though I have to state that the real plane flies a lot faster and glides better than the simulated 4chan Easystar, so less margin for error !

the CG point is around 1/3rd the chord length from the leading edge.. it would be around the point where the wing spars are installed in the wing

Sky serfer V3 full.
Hi,
It was initial difficulties to get the product, but then recd, good packing, assembled quickly. Checked all operation found working OK. Remember to buy glue to fix fuselag etc & 4 cell for Tx-Rx. not included in the kit.
Initial problem shorted out from Bangalore even on sunday. Crash in 2nd attempt & one servo reqd replacement.
Great product must for beginner.
Buy simulator along with this if you r new in this field.

Hint - save your aircraft
Hi guys.!, I am Hitesh kher form Surendranagar (gujarat), I have a sky surfer RC plane, I had Three time crash my sky surfer,
>>First time problem was elevator servo out his glued area ( so please check always servo glued area ),
>>Second time problem was aileron servo gear break (servo was all ready few faulty, so always change faulty parts immediately),
>>Third crash is battery low signal indicate in TX , and finally lost connectivity and crash.
>>so check your aircraft every flying and enjoying long time your hobby..( sorry for my poor english )

Really good beginner airplane
This is a very good best buy ready to fly airplane for people getting into this hobby. I suggest to use 6x4 APC props and a 30A ESC instead for better performance etc.
Overall a really good product.

સ્કાય સફર એક બહુજ સારું મોડલ છે, જે મેં 28/08/2012 ના રોજ ખરીદ કર્યું, તે શરૂઆત ના ફ્લાયર માટે એકદમ યોગ્ય મોડલ છે , અને તે બધી રીતે સારું મોડલ છે, તેની બેટ્રી અંદાજે 20 મીનીટ થી 28 મીનીટ ચાલે છે , અને ટ્રાન્સપોટેશન ખુબજ સરળ છે.બીજું વિશેસ એ કે RC BAZAAR ની ટીમ તથા સ્ટાફ ખુબજ સારો છે , એમનો ટેકનીકલી સપોટ પણ ખુબજ સારો છે ,અને કોઈપણ પ્રોબ્લેમ હોય તો એ લોકો બેસ્ટ સપોટ આપે છે , મારી વાત કરું તો મારા પાર્સલ માં અમુક આઇટમ મિસિંગ હતી તો મેં તેમને કહું કે મારા પાર્સલ અમુક આઇટમ મિસિંગ છે તો તેમને મને તેજ દિવસે કુરિયર દ્વારા રવાના કરી આપી હતી .. તેમની ટીમ , સ્ટાફ , કંપની બધાને હેલ્પ માટે થેંક્યુ વેરી મચ.. અને તમારો આ બિજનેસ માં ઉતરોતર પ્રગતિ થાય આવી મારી શુભકામના ..

SUPER DUPER MODEL
what more can i say. this plane is just superb and is the PERFECT model of a beginner. if anyone crashes this model he is a complete noob. i have been flying this model for quite sometime now and its fantastically stable in high winds too, one cannot go wrong with this model. its made of strong epo foam and withstands all kinds of crashes and this is very cheap compared to those very expensive multiplex kits available in the market. This is just the best for a beginner or a FPV flyer. Guys i recommend this mode to everyone and with the as-usual superb service and spares from rcbazaar you would be a fool to choose any other floater model than skysurfer... 5 stars and more.. hats of to rcbazaar and keep more of these models coming.
